Making coffee

November 23, 2005 · Leave a Comment

My new Cusinart coffee brewer is proving itself to be an excellent coffee maker. The coffee brews hot and stays that way, thanks to the thermal carafe. It has a 1-4 cup button which brews the water hotter for smaller amounts thus keeping the taste. Plus, it has a timer. So, I set it to go off just before we wake up, and if we sleeep late, no matter, the carafe keeps it hot (and not burned.)

Several coffee brewing guides I’ve read lately sternly tell you NOT to take a cup as it is brewing, as this will change the taste and strength of the coffee that remains. So, patience is a virtue when brewing. Wait for it to get done, then pour a cup.
