Beware Google, of how Microsoft slid

Microsoft was once wildly loved and could do no wrong. Seriously. Bill Gates was idolized. Then, slowly at first, began the slide. It started with the hard core techies, the insiders, the players; they saw a company becoming arrogrant and clueless, losing contact with their roots. P'shaw said the general public at first, but the meme soon spread. Now Microsoft is just another corporate behemoth, often roundly hated and for justifiable reasons.

Now core insiders and techies are starting to criticize Google.
