The next president will almost certainly be a Democrat. Both Clinton and Obama have strong global warming platforms and have called for massive government investment. (McCain is also quite good on global warming.)
Such investment by the government into cleantech will undoubtedly help create entire new industries and bolster existing ones. Thus, cleantech – and any associated stocks – will be getting a huge boost after Jan. 2009 when the new, presumably Democratic president, assumes office.
