Gartner: “Windows” of opportunity is closing
The Borg is no more, says Gartner. The Microsoft juggernaut of operating system hegemony is collapsing. Slow adoption of Vista is but one reason, the real reason is the cloud. If you do everything on the Net, then the OS becomes increasingly unimportant. Especially if it’s buggy and bloated when the Mac OS isn’t.
