Credit Default Swaps hit mainstream

The NY Times article in today’s Sunday Times introduces the general public to the teetering, wobbly world of credit default swaps. It’s titled Arcane Market Is Next to Face Big Credit Test and what once was arcane will now be as well-known as subprime. Not so much because of the Times article but because of the financial implosions about to occur.
