Only 11% of teens email daily–clearly, a huge generational drop. Instead, they are increasingly turning to SMS (or Twitter) and social networks for communication.
But will this trend continue when they are older and working? Maybe. There’s no reason social networks can’t be used in-house instead of email, maybe more effectively too.
However, this link did come to me via Fast Company’s email newsletter. Social networks won’t be replacing listservs any time soon.
